Double Play spiraeas have both colorful flowers and colorful foliage. Massive pink flowers of a size never seen before adorn bright yellow foliage. This plant has the largest flowers we’ve every seen on a spiraea. Foliage glows orange in the spring.
This superstar is a branch sport of ‘Froebelii’, with a smaller more compact form. New foliage is deep green, showing off the stunning, scarlet red new growth to its best advantage. Pink blossoms grace the plant all summer long. The three-season appeal continues with an excellent bronze fall color.
