Strongly weeping form of Pussy Willow on a Standard. Large silky soft catkins appear in early spring.

This double flowered selection was discovered in the wild in Itasca County, Minnesota, and released by the University of Minnesota in 1986, It blooms freely, with showy white flowers in early May that offset the dark bark. Young trees have prominent lenticels that complement the black bark, adding winter interest.

Considered to be among the best of all yellow-flowered Magnolias. Exceptional, rich yellow, non-fading 4 to 5 in. blooms are held upright like butterflies upon the branches. A spectacular specimen and focal point for early spring.

Naturally weeping form, similar to Louisa and burgundy-green foliage much like Prairiefire. Pink flowers cover the pendulous branches each spring on this graceful small tree. Attractive dark red fruit.

This slow-growing native is especially beautiful in spring when profuse white blooms appear before foliage. Dark blue fruit follows later in the summer. Tolerant of city conditions, including pollution, it prefers deep, moist, fertile, acid soils and full to part sun.

Snowdance flowers well annually and begins flowering at an earlier age than the species. Large, fragrant panicles of creamy white bloom in June. For those garden situations where you want a small tree with nice fall color, we have trained Burning Bush to tree form. It has yellow flowers in May-June, and the typical winged corky bark. The ultimate height and spread is under your control.
