What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Too many rewards to list here in this short space, but the fact that I can wear jeans and t-shirts every day is right up there.
Tell us about your family.
They say if you can’t pick out the crazy one, it is probably you.
What is your favorite time of day? Why?
Late, late, LATE at night… when the rest of the world is asleep. So quiet and peaceful. I’m sure early mornings are quiet and peaceful too but I stay up too late to know for sure.
What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
Outside I enjoy anything water related – swimming, fishing, drinking. Indoor would be movies, cards or cribbage, reading and pretty much any stupid reality TV show.
What is the farthest you have been away from home?
We went on a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon and decided to venture out on our own in Naples. Ended up running through the back streets of Naples trying to make it back to the boat before it left dock, would have missed the boat if the taxi driver didn’t take pity on us and stop.
What are three things on your “Bucket List” ?
1. Alaska Cruise
2. Learn to play the piano
3. Learn to speak multiple languages
What do you miss most about being a kid?
Being read to, I love listening to people read and tell stories.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Fly, and not in an airplane or helicopter. Just my arms out to the side soaring through the skies, but I would have to get over my irrational fear of birds first.
What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
I can’t remember what I bought with my own money last week let alone the first thing I bought, probably candy.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick to be your mentor? Why?
I have chosen mentors throughout my lifetime depending on where I’ve been, but the steadfast and true lifelong mentors in my life are my parents. Best people ever.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Scream
What is your all-time favorite movie?
Anything that is not a western or sci-fi. Really any disturbing suspense, mind-numbing comedy, unrealistic romantic chick flick, or over the top disaster movies are my favorite.
