Join us for our 3nd annual Plant a Seed Workshop on Saturday February 14th. Seminars on growing from seed will be at 10am and 11:30am.
The 10:00am timeslot will be geared towards children and designed to explain the journey a seed takes from planting to germination. Each child will receive one free green bean seed to plant (additional green bean seeds can be purchased for $1 each). The plantings will be taken home with the children at the end of the seminar.
The 11:30am seminar is designed for adults and will include more in depth information about growing from seed. Farmer Cole will also be providing a first look into our 2015 Community Supported Agriculture season. Each attendee will plant one free pepper or tomato seed (additional seeds can be purchased for $1 each) and we will germinate your planting here at Pahl’s. Pepper and tomato plants will be ready for pick up beginning May 1st (all plantings must be picked up by May 8th).
