Succulent, fleshy green leaves turn a striking burgundy in the fall. Numerous yellow flowers form on top of flowering stems. This North American native can be found in many types of rocky habitat, including coastal bluffs and cliffs and the talus of higher inland mountains in California, Oregon, Washington and into Alaska.
