My neighbor recently gave me some extra tulip bulbs she purchased this fall. Is it too late to plant them?
Since last summer sometime we have a rabbit living under our deck and my plants and flowers really suffered. I tried different powders and such that my local nursery sold to try and keep them from eating everything. Do you have any suggestions? Is there a certain pot size I should use ie: 14″? Do you have pre-started plants? If so when is a good time to come and purchase them? How many plants to a pot? Thanks for your help.
Just wondering are peony cages and tomato cages the same thing? If there not, can you please tell me where I can find peony cages. Nobody seems to know what I’m talking about when I ask them if they have peony cages and point me to the tomato cages. Please help me figure this out.
What are some good plants to attract birds for next winter?

My lawn really suffered during that long dry spell we had this summer. Is there anything I can do now to give it a fresh start next spring?

We have a couple of very large cottonwood trees in our yard. The roots are up above the grass in many areas and they are hard to mow around. I was wondering if we can plant flowers around them and if so, what would be the best way to do that? I guess we can’t put a brick wall border around it because the roots would be in the way. Please help!
I mulched over the winter with leaves. I read that leaves are good for the soil, so should I leave them on the ground and them cover them with my wood chip mulch, or rake them out and dispose of them?
