In my opinion, the harvest could not get much better. By the time we get from one side of the field to the next, it is time to start all over again. The heat is pushing the plants to new levels, peppers and cucumbers especially, continue to set fruit and grow rapidly, It is very important to keep up on harvesting as plants will stop producing more fruit if you do not make sure to clean the plant of what is ready to pick. I spent most of the day yesterday harvesting a variety of crops for the CSA box this week and I feel you will be pleased with this week’s produce! ‘Tis the season for long days, sun rays, and bountiful harvests!
