I am in zone 8a NC. My coneflower is not getting enough air circulation and sun due to tall zinnias near by. Can I move them now? It is August 8.
Coneflowers can be split or moved in the Spring or Fall. If you plan to do it this Fall wait until the blooms have faded, typically late September thru October.
