Moss Basket Days have been a Pahl’s Market tradition since 1998 — and for good reason.

At this hands-on planting event, you’ll design and plant your own lush container in the warmth of our greenhouse, surrounded by hundreds of vibrant plants and plenty of inspiration.

Whether you come solo, bring friends, or make it a family tradition, Moss Basket Days are the perfect way to kick off the growing season.

What You’ll Experience

Choose from hundreds of plant varieties for sun or shade
Design and plant your own container with help from our knowledgeable staff
Enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments while you plant
Leave your basket with us — we’ll care for it until it’s full, lush, and ready for pickup in early May

We lovingly “plant-sit” your container in our greenhouse so it looks its absolute best when you take it home.

(Walk-in days do not include complimentary refreshments and do not require reservations)

Plant one or more 16″ container and have the option to plant up to four 12″ patio pots (6 plants) for only $39.99 each.

Don’t settle for an imitation. Pahl’s Market started Moss Basket Days in 1998, and more than two decades later, it remains a favorite way to welcome spring. Make this the year you join in!

Important: We ask that your Moss Baskets be picked up by Friday, May 9th. They must be picked up by May 31st. We will send out email reminders if you are signed up for our loyalty program with a valid email address. Any baskets still waiting for their forever home after May 31st will be donated to a local nursing home, where they’ll spread smiles and sunshine. No refunds will be issued.
