Alpenglow Hybrid Maple

Named for the red blush that illuminates Mount Hoods snowy peak when the sun is low on the horizon, Alpenglow has flat, deeply lobed leaves that emerge ruby and darken to a rich merlot. It has an elegant oval habit, with arching main branches and translucent leaf veins that enable the leaves to catch the light and glow. In fall, the canopy blazes orange and red. You can rely on this vigorous tree to weather tough winters and put on its colorful show year after year.
