Customer Service and a little taste of everything that we offer at Pahl’s.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is that I enjoy going to work. I like the variety of what I have to do every day. And most of all I appreciate all the relationships with staff I have made over the past four years.
Tell us about yourself…
Going to be a junior at the University of Minnesota, majoring in family social science with a minor in psychology.
Tell us about your family…
My immediate family is me, my younger sister Krystin, my dog Jojo, and my wonderful Mom and Dad! In the picture above, they all ran part of my first marathon with me (except Jojo).
What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year?
My favorite time of the year is the beginning fall. I am always anxious to go back to school. My favorite day of the week is Sunday, it’s my favorite day during the week to work and when I’m at school and not working it is my favorite day to relax.
What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
A new activity I picked up this past year was running. I ran my first marathon in May. It was the hardest but most rewarding thing I have ever done. The feeling I had when I crossed the finish line made the time and effort I put in for a semester well worth it.
I also enjoy doing creative projects and one day I would like to use art as form of therapy to help others.
I volunteer at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital. I get to play with patients and their siblings in the hospital playroom and and do room visits with kids whose parents are gone or need help.
What are three things on your “Bucket List” ?
1. Travel to Europe
2. Experience Christmas in New York and be in Times Square when the ball drops on New Year’s
3. I would like to learn how to play the piano.
What do you miss most about being a kid?
The thing I miss the most about being a kid is not having to plan and make decisions about my future. That has been the hardest thing about growing up and becoming an adult.
What is your all time favorite TV show?
My favorite show to watch is Friends.
What song do you play the most often?
The song I listen to the most is Your Love by the Outfield, I love listening to music from the eighties and that song always puts me in a good mood.
