I know, this is a gardening article, but isn’t December the month to eat cookies? What a glorious, festive time of year. Yum!
In reality, it’s a lovely time of year to decorate for the season with fresh evergreens and a little “Holiday” bling! We carry a full line of fresh evergreens for you to use in your decorations. The fragrance of the pine boughs and balsam pieces can’t be beat.
Let’s begin with the famous Minnesota spruce top. Actually a renewable crop, these are suckers from the black spruce found in peat bogs of northern Minnesota. The suckers take energy from the main tree so removing them is actually good for the tree.
We have spruce pots all ready to decorate. You can add a variety of decorative evergreens in with the tips and then design your own unique pot with all kinds of additional decorations we have in the market. Whether you like natural decor or the shiny bright Christmas sparkle we can help you out.
We also offer a variety of cones, willow stems, and several dogwood stems. Woody stems of all of these add height and grace to your decorating.
If you would like something special already to place by your entry we have 5 spruce pot designs ready to go home with you. Each is unique to Pahl’s, and we hope you will enjoy seeing what we have made especially for our customers this year. We can also create a custom look just to your taste. Ask for custom help at the service desk and one of our production staff will come and help you design just what you would like. From decorating your mantle, your table, or your front entrance we can provide the creative help you need.
We have many items in the greenhouse you may want to check out. Holiday hanging baskets, kissing balls, swags with bright bows, and custom wreaths are all set to go. As you enter the greenhouse we know you will be delighted with the fragrance of the season. Rich pine and evergreen fills the air. Crisp air and the smell of Christmas!
We hope you will enjoy some time with us here at Pahl’s this beautiful Christmas season. May your homes be filled with family, friends, the joy of this glorious time of year, and a few great Christmas cookies! Yes, it is cookie month you know.
