First farm share box dates are scheduled for Wednesday, June 22nd and Thursday June 23rd!
Weekly CSA newsletters will be emailed (and available on our website) starting Tuesday, June 21st and will continue every Tuesday throughout the entire 20 week CSA season. The newsletters will include a note from the farmer, an idea of what to expect in your share box and recipe ideas. CSA newsletters will be delivered to all email addresses listed on the contract but administrative communications, such as this one, are only delivered to the shareholders email address (the first email address listed on the contract). If you are splitting a share or have other family members/friends that would like to see this communication, please feel free to forward it on!
The first Harvest Event is scheduled for Saturday, June 18th at 11am. This harvest event will be a seminar held at Pahl’s Market where the farmers will talk about how to get the most out of your CSA share this season. We will also have a guest from Gentleman Forager here to talk about an exciting new offering available to our CSA members! Registration is not required for this seminar.
The second Harvest Event is right around the corner! The pea field will be open to all CSA members starting Saturday, June 25th. The field will be open to CSA members the entire week and through the following weekend, July 2nd & 3rd. We will have a Pahl’s representative at the pea field on the weekends, but feel free to be adventurous and head out anytime during the week as well! Remember to bring your own container and pick to your hearts content! Directions and a map will be included in the first CSA newsletter on June 21st. Mark your calendar!
In addition to the weekly vegetables. Pahl Farms CSA members will receive quality meats and fresh baked breads in their share boxes once a month! These are the dates you can expect those goodies:
