My wife loves little packages but this year’s little package topped every other little package that she has ever received in her life. This past year we were blessed with our first grandchild, Charlotte. I personally forgot how precious and extraordinary the little ones are until you hold them in your arms. Charlotte was born March 30, 2019 to my daughter Jamie and her husband Nathan. Our love for our children has always been unconditional, endless, and at times emotional. OUR LOVE FOR THIS GRANDCHILD HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE!
Our deal since day one has been for Jamie or Nate to send us a picture every morning when lil’ Charlotte gets up, and what a great gift this has been! My morning is not complete until I see a picture of my lil’ Charlotte. When it was time for Jamie to go back to work they found a daycare for four days a week and on Fridays my wife, Jane (aka Glamma), cares for Charlotte. I have the pleasure of picking up Charlotte every Friday morning and bringing her to our house so Jane can watch her for the day. For the first couple of months the ‘lil one would be dozing off by the time we got back to the house. Now she is chirping in the back seat like she is telling me how to drive.
Christmas started with a little package that changed the world! Little packages come in diverse ways that can make a world of difference to the one that receives. lil’ Charlotte has made Jane’s and my world a little bit better every day! During this Christmas season make any little package count to someone special, or to someone that needs a little bit more attention. Take the time to reach out to someone you have lost touch with, or visit at a nursing home. Be a giver this holiday season and you will be rewarded tenfold.
God Bless & Merry Christmas
