Spring is coming to us at a slower pace than last year. That is not always a bad thing in the world of gardening. More ground moisture means a healthy start for our gardens. At Pahl’s we celebrate Spring with our annual Open House on Saturday, April 20th. The market will be stocked to the brim with beautiful garden treasures as well as everything you need to start your season in the landscape. The greenhouse smells and looks like heaven. From the aroma of fresh popcorn to the smiles of our friendly helpful staff, we are looking forward to your visit.
Our Open House hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The day will be fun-filled with exciting sales, a number of FREE seminars to attend and greenhouse tours. Our Spring Open House is a great time to visit your Moss Basket too!
Our first seminar will be on Building a Garden from Scratch. The second seminar will introduce new ideas and small treasures for The Fairy Garden. Whether you want to create a large fairy garden in the landscape or a small terrarium or potted garden, we can give you many helpful ideas. Do you like to cook with herbs? Our third seminar will be a demonstration class on Cooking with Herbs that will give you some great ideas. You can taste test some of our culinary delights. The last seminar will be on New & Exciting Plants for this Season. There are exciting new annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs to discover and we look forward to telling you all about them.
Our Garden Center and Greenhouse will be open for you to see and we will have several tours for you to take. You can get an idea how production works and see all of the hard work our outstanding planting crew has been doing. This time of year we are in full production and our greenhouses will hold over 1,000,000 plants!
We have a new look here in the market to share with you also. This past winter, we have been busy remodeling the Market. We hope you will find our new look convenient and inviting for all your garden shopping needs.
We hope you will come and help us celebrate a beautiful new season. Spring will be in full swing and the excitement of a new gardening year begins for us all.
