Pahl’s Market is launching it’s 1st annual photo contest. Now is your chance to show off your photography skills and become a part of Pahl’s 2012 calendar which celebrates Minnesota’s four fabulous seasons. The 12 winning photos will be featured in our “Something for Every Season” 2012 calendar plus the winners will receive a Pahl’s gift card.
We are looking for striking photographs that highlight Minnesota’s four seasons. Photos can include but are not limited to container flowers, annual and perennial colors, early spring growth, water features, landscaping, farming, vegetables and fruits, fall color, evergreen scenery, birds and wildlife. BE CREATIVE!
HOW TO ENTER:
• Mail to Pahl’s Market, Att: Photo Contest, 6885 160th Street, Apple Valley, MN 55124
• Send Electronically by e-mailing to info@pahls.com
• Submit in person at Pahl’s Market
(Entries must be in good quality for the judging. We highly recommend a high resolution photo in JPEG format.)
CONTEST RULES:
• Each contestant may submit only one original color photograph in each season category.
• Submit digital ready photo. (No print submissions will be accepted.)
• No purchase necessary. Must have parental consent if under 18 years of age.
• All photographs are non-returnable and become the property of Pahl’s Market.
• Pahl’s reserves the right to publish any photo, including print and electronic.
• All entries must be copyright free and be available to be published in the calendar without encumberment.
• Entries must be submitted for spring, summer, fall and winter no later than midnight on September 30, 2011.
• Winning photographs will be announced in October 2011 on our website at www.pahls.com and photos will be used in the Pahl’s Market calendar for 2012.

• Additional information: date photo taken, location of photo, brief description/useful information for the judges
CONTEST WINNERS:
• Twelve (12) winning photos selected to represent each calendar month in the 2012 Pahl’s calendar
• A Grand Prize winner will be chosen from these 12 winners
• Grand Prize winner will receive a $100 Pahl’s Gift Card plus five free calendars for family and friends.
• Eleven (11) runners-up will receive a $25 Pahl’s Gift Card plus two free calendars for family and friends.
• The 2012 “Something for Every Season” calendar will be for sale at Pahl’s Market in November 2011.
