Sure Cure for Spring Fever

by | Feb 27, 2014 | Market News

Do you feel like winter will never end? We want to help you make it through March with thoughts of Spring. Our annual Moss Basket Days for 2014 are Saturday March 1st, Tuesday March 4th, and Saturday March 8th. Don’t miss our most popular event of the year!

Our first Moss Basket Day started in 1998 with about 25 baskets being planted. Last year there were close to 1500 baskets, pots and three tier planters designed by our awesome customers! This hands-on event allows you to create and plant your very own Moss Basket in the warmth of our greenhouse. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you through the entire process and will “plant sit” your unique basket until early May. Choose from hundreds of different plants, colors, shade or sun. Bring your friends and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments while you plant. We will nurture your basket until you come back the beginning of May to pick it up. You will be amazed to see what those little plugs have been up to. They make excellent Mother’s Day Gifts too!

We are excited to offer a Community Supported Agriculture program at Pahl’s and one lucky Moss Basket attendee will be randomly drawn to win a CSA standard share valued at $425 (need not be present to win). If you are the lucky drawing winner, and have purchased your share already, we will refund your payment. Visit our website to learn more about Pahl Farms CSA program.

If you haven’t planted with us yet, you are missing a fun day. There is still time to reserve a spot! Visit our events page to register online or call us at 952-431-4345. We hope that Pahl’s Moss Basket Days becomes a part of your March tradition to welcome Spring.
