All the tractors are nestled in the shed, tucked away cozily, washed and waxed up waiting for a glorious New Year. Our lists are a bit different than Santa’s; our lists consist of what needs to be repaired, built or added on to make the coming year a success. If equipment is taken care of and maintained it adds value not only on the books, but also keeps the pride of the individuals operating the machines when they are in the field. It starts from the top and filters down to the crew on how our business is run. If you take pride in the equipment that you are running it permeates down to the product that you provide for the public. Five generations of hard work and due diligence is on the line every day with every load that we produce.
This time of year also comes a time for reflecting on how fortunate we are regardless of what the weather has dealt us. Our thoughts and prayers reach out to the ones we have lost this past year that have worked for us and their family members that have passed. May their Christmas bring them joy in the memories that they have shared with their loved ones. Merry Christmas to all and may the New Year bring us all good health!
P.S. Eat your Veggies!
