June marks the beginning of the local harvest season here at Pahl Farms. With the anticipation of the Spring and Summer months ahead comes renewed thoughts of fresh produce and healthy eating! Pahl Farms is a 5th generation, family owned and operated farm with over 60 years of dedication to responsible growing practices. Already a CSA member? Not too much longer before CSA share boxes start being delivered to your pick-up location! The season is scheduled to begin June 24th and 25th. Weekly CSA newsletter will be emailed (and available on our website) starting Tuesday, June 23. The first Harvest Event is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th, and will be a seminar held at Pahl’s Market. There will be two options to attend, 10am or 1pm, and we will be discussing the upcoming season and how to get the most out of your CSA share.

Will you give me more info on the CSA program? I understand i will be buying a share for $425 and for that I will get fresh produce from you delivered to specified locations. I want to know if i am able to select the produce I want? If so, do you provide a list of options?

Thanks for your question. There is a produce list available on our website under the “CSA” tab that lists the vegetables/fruits we grow and shows which months they are typically available. We pick and pack the share boxes at the peak of freshness so the contents of your CSA box includes what is ready to be harvested. We do not have an option to fill your own share box, but we do always have a daily farmers market onsite at our location in Apple Valley throughout the harvest season!
