Moss Basket Days

Events
Plant A Seed Workshop will be on Saturday, February 17th. Seminars will be at 10am and 11am. The 10am seminar is a FREE workshop geared towards children. We talk about the journey that a seed takes from germination to maturity. The kids will plant a green bean seed and take it home with them to watch it grow. The 11am seminar, geared more towards adults, will discuss starting seeds for spring. Learn when to start specific plant seeds, what kind of growing medium to use, light and watering needs, and how to prepare your tender plants to make their transition to the great outdoors. Each attendee will receive one FREE tomato or green pepper seed to plant. Additional seeds can be purchased for $2 each. We will keep your plantings and germinate them in the warmth of our greenhouse. You are also welcome to take them home with you if you prefer. Germinated seeds will be available to pick up on Saturday, April 21st during our Spring Open House.  If you plan to attend our Plant a Seed workshop please sign up on our website by following this link, Plant a Seed Sign Up.
