Did you know we grow 400,000 cabbage plants in our greenhouse. Once they reach a decent size we bring them outside to harden off for a few weeks and then transplant them into the field along with many acres of seeded cabbage. We grow approximately 75 acres of just cabbage. That is a lot of slaw and kraut! If Mother Nature cooperates we will have fresh homegrown cabbage available by mid-July.
