Once again the seasons change at Pahl’s Market. With this change we usher in the Christmas holiday season. In the span of one week we will switch the market from the warm colors of fall to the elegant spectrum of Christmas.
On Saturday, November 8th we will kick off the season with our annual Spruce Tip Pot and Kissing Ball Workshop. The hours are from 10am-4pm. If you can’t make it then, we will also offer it on Wednesday, November 12th from 4-7pm, and Saturday, November 15th from 10am-4pm. This event is festive and fun. We have plenty of staff on hand to help you create your holiday dazzle. Enjoy refreshments while you submerge yourself in the holiday party. Last year we warmed the greenhouse to work out there. It was perfect! So again this year we will be in the toasty greenhouse. We do like to take reservations on the half hour. You can sign up on our website for the time that works best for you. We have families that come to create together, ladies that meet up for some “girl time”, and individuals who like a little relaxation on their own. The cost of the Kissing Ball is $25 (includes $10 worth of decorations). The Spruce Tip Pots start at $30 (includes spruce tips and $10 worth of decorations). We also have price points of $40 (includes tips, mixed greens and decorations), or $50 (includes tips, additional mixed greens and additional decorations). The spruce tips will be placed in soil for you in a 12” plastic holiday pot. All you have to do is step up and let your creativity flow.
Santa will be at our Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 22nd from 10am-2pm. Have your photo taken with him and tell him all of your Christmas wishes. Our celebration continues all day from 9am-5pm. We will have coffee, popcorn, and special holiday treats for all. Our live Christmas trees will be out for you to choose from.
We have Balsam, Fraser Fir, Grand, Noble, Canaan, Blue Spruce, Scotch Pine and 
White Pines from four feet to fourteen feet tall. Fragrant garlands, wreaths, door sprays, and centerpieces, either decorated or plain can be found. And of course not to be forgotten, you will find Kissing Balls and Spruce Tips in bundles or pots. There is Curly Willow, Dogwoods of many varieties, Fantail Willow, and more to complete your decorations. Top that with a dazzling display of poinsettias in various sizes and you have everything you need to make your holiday shine.
November 28th brings a day of sales which we like to call Green Friday at Pahl’s Market. We will be open from 9am-8pm. Pick up garden accessories for your favorite gardener. We carry a sparkling selection of holiday decorations that you will not find anywhere else. And we will have the best price in town on 72” flat screen televisions. So be sure and add Pahl’s Market to your list of must stops! Alright, maybe we won’t have television sets but you never know what we may do.
On Saturday December 6th Santa told us he will be making a return visit before he heads to the North Pole. He will be here from 10am-2pm on that day. Bring the kids and make some special reindeer food and fun memories.
