Can an arctic dwarf blue willow survive in Florida?

Would a arctic dwarf blue willow do okay in florida? I have it in maine, but would like to have it in my new location! Thank You!

Dear Lynelle,

The arctic blue willow is one of my favorite small shrubs/trees.  I have several in my yard in Wisconsin.  The arctic blue willow will grow in zones 4-8.  From my plant hardiness map northern Florida is considered zone 8.  I would definitely give the willow a try in your new location.  I might consider planting it in a partially shady spot and where it has a good and continuous source of water.
