Garden Tips
Now that Spring has finally sprung, here are some Garden Tips for the month of May.
Northern Catalpa
There was a blog article on this subject nearly a decade ago that has always made the plant geek in us laugh – calling Catalpa’s the Rodney Dangerfield of shade trees since they get no respect!
Boulder Wall
Every year Pahl’s Landscaping department does a wide variety of projects throughout the area. We are excited to start a new series in our newsletter where we will be sharing the details of some of the landscape projects we’ve completed.
Spring is Here… Almost
You would never know it by the weather outside, but follow the calendar. We have many transplants already up and growing in the greenhouse and will be ready for the fields starting by the end of April.
First Editions® Gladiator™Crabapple
While warmer zones tend to have all the fun with spring blooming trees, those in colder regions can now add this beautiful bloomer to their pallet! Hardy from zones 2 through 8, Gladiator™ is an excellent ornament tree.

April Showers Bring May Flowers
April showers bring May flowers! At least that’s what they claim but who knows what is going to happen this year. I always like to look at the 7 day forecast each morning and see what the weather is like, mostly because I want to know if I should wear shorts or not.
The Adventure Begins
As we move into the spring months our plans are put into action and the greenhouses are starting to fill up with flowers and vegetable transplants. Before you know it the dust will be flying and the planters will be rolling.
