This is a classic pea salad that some of you may remember from your grandmother. It’s a nice change from the standard potato or pasta salads. And an added bonus is that most kids love it!
Servings: 8-10
3-4 cups fresh or frozen peas (thawed and drained, if using frozen)
½-1 cup diced Cheddar cheese
1 medium red onion, chopped
1 cup Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate until serving time.
