Garlic Herb Rutabaga Fries

Found on the website www.bodymindfreedom, Natalia Hamell is the author of this recipe. She says the rutabagas may be peeled or leave them unpeeled. Natalia doesn’t peel hers and the fries were delicious!
Servings: 2-4
2 large Rutabagas, sliced into fry-shaped strips
2 Tablespoons Olive oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced (or ½ teaspoon Garlic powder)
1/4 teaspoon dried Oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried Parsley
1/4 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Sea salt (if desired)
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Lay strips of rutabaga onto a baking sheet. Mix olive oil with minced garlic (if using) and pour over rutabaga fries, tossing to coat.
3. Mix together seasonings and sprinkle over the fries.
4. Bake for 30-40 minutes until browned and crispy, turning fries halfway through.
