Our first harvest event was a huge success! Those who came Saturday enjoyed perfect weather for pea-picking, balmy temps and a gentle breeze. It was so much fun to see the little ones learning how to pick peas. Everyone went home with containers (and tummies!) full. Our Monday night event was cut short when a storm blew in, but those who came managed to fill their containers in plenty of time.
The field will be open to all CSA share members this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (July 10, 11, 12) for those that missed the event or for those that would just like more peas! Please bring your own container, you will be on your own to pick.
