Yet another week of our CSA program is upon us, and harvest is in full swing. The flowers on our vegetable plants are blooming and the bees are busy pollinating them. All the planting has come to a close and now we are concerned about getting stuff harvested and out of the field. Peppers, cucumbers, cabbage and green beans are just a few of the crops we are harvesting besides our CSA produce. Broccoli will be the highlight of our CSA shares this week, it is delicious and nutritious and even better still; it is homegrown. Homegrown produce cannot be matched and is what makes CSA programs so special. We imagine you are all eagerly awaiting this week’s share box, it is just around the corner and it is the best yet!
