The cold weather has started to really settle in. The fields have all fallen silent with the exception of the sound of the combine getting the rest of the field corn out for the year. The hustle and bustle is finally turning into more of a relaxing and calm atmosphere around the farm once again. Squash and pumpkins are still flying out of the door and soon enough they will be gone, and another year will be in the books. It’s coming down to the final weeks of the growing season and I am ready for the winter months to come, because with winter comes planning for another year out in the fields. Though the fields will be snow covered soon enough, the farming is never truly over. It’s never too soon to think about next year and the great plans that lie ahead.
Have a great share week!
