The first week of our CSA program has come and gone and another has dawned! Last week a bountiful harvest and great weather helped to make the first CSA box a smashing success and we are hoping to keep that great momentum going. The fields are looking stunning and plant growth is in full swing. It won’t be long until we are enjoying fresh picked delicious sweet corn, cucumbers, green beans and many other varieties of our fresh produce that is coming into season! We began cutting fresh green cabbage yesterday and what a great feeling to see all of our hard work in the Spring pay off when it’s finally harvest time.
It makes it all worthwhile to know that our fresh produce is going straight from our fields to your table. It always brings a smile to my face and I hope it brings one to yours as well.The sun is shining, the bees are busy and fresh vegetables are on their way to your home, what a great feeling!
