Picking squash tomorrow? Wait, am I dreaming, or is fall already here? I must ask myself that question ten times a day, but in reality, September is just days away. So the answer is yes, fall is here and my, did time fly! I’m not complaining, it’s my favorite time of the year, and wait, we still have 100 acres of corn left to pick! The summer and fall seasons tend to meld into September: sweet corn, peppers, cucumbers and cabbage will all still be harvested daily, and now add squash to the docket! It’s all about transition this time of the year. Enjoy the medley of summer and fall in your farm share boxes this week, cheers to another chapter of our 2017 CSA season!
