News from the Farmer

It’s beginning to feel a lot like fall this week! Crisp mornings, abundant sunshine and even some changing of colors among the trees. We are picking butternut squash this morning for the farm shares, a sweet delicacy that I look forward to every year. Upon checking the pumpkins I see many of them are ripening right on schedule and it appears the harvest will begin here shortly. Until then, squash will be the name of the game. With 50 acres of it to harvest, it should keep us plenty busy! Have a great autumn (feeling) share week!
