As we move into the spring months our plans are put into action and the greenhouses are starting to fill up with flowers and vegetable transplants. Before you know it the dust will be flying and the planters will be rolling.

Writing the March newsletter always gets me really excited for spring. February is kind of the month that we knock the rust off and slowly start getting into our planting season. Come March we are in full stride and things really start to take off inside our greenhouse.

The winter naps have come and gone and the time to fire up the greenhouses is here. We plan to be in full swing starting February 12th with the planting crew returning and the heaters going.
Over 14 million plants are just sitting and waiting to be planted, it is amazing to think that we accomplish that much in one growing season. Some of the plants start from seed, some from plugs, others from bare root, and some from cuttings.
Pahl’s will have the Straight Talk Privet available for sale in April 2018 in both #2 & #5 sizes. We did have this new privet later in the season last year and it was very well received.

Each year around this time we like to pause and be thankful for what the Lord has given us. We have many things in our life to be thankful for and I am reminded everyday when I wake up and am able to share experiences with my wife, kids and employees.
The Christmas music is now playing around the greenhouse and the strong fragrance tells me that it is that time of the year again. All of our Christmas trees and Christmas décor are now in and it is time to come in and spread the holiday cheer.
