Once again the seasons change at Pahl’s Market. With this change we usher in the Christmas holiday season. In the span of one week we will switch the market from the warm colors of fall to the elegant spectrum of Christmas.

Shockingly Fun October
Just in case you didn’t know… our Fall Festival on October 4th and 5th will kick off one of the best months of the year for kids young and old. The Bouncy Pumpkin is a big hit for kids 45 inches in height or shorter. The young ones can wear off some energy bouncing to their hearts content. But I must say, the Corn Pit is giving the Pumpkin a run for its money. We fill a straw bale pit with corn to wiggle your feet in. Even the parents can’t resist taking off their shoes. It is a time when our lost and found seems to accumulate quite a few stray socks. Also don’t forget to hike through our Straw Maze. With its twists, turns, and dead ends, we challenge the youngsters to escape its grasp. All of these activities will continue throughout the whole month. So stop back often and enjoy yourself.
Celebrating the Harvest
With September we have the arrival of Autumn. The warm summer days yield to cooler fall temperatures. The trees start changing to vibrant colors and families settle back into a school year routine once again. We see and feel the changes all around us. Our greenhouses are filled with mums waiting to burst forth in every color imaginable. From the fields, we are treated to the squash crop reaching maturity. It is a time to celebrate the changing season.
Land of 10,000 Cobs
Isn’t it great to be living in the “Land of 10,000 Cobs”? August is one of the best months at Pahl’s Market. We are finally able to offer our delicious sweet corn to you. These first few varieties have been very tasty. Making it even better is our corn drive thru! If you are pressed for time and just want that dozen to take home for dinner, nothing is sweeter than our drive thru. But may I suggest you park and check out all the fresh homegrown produce that is filling our market. Juicy tomatoes, snappy green beans, crisp cucumbers, fabulous cabbage and more are waiting for you. We are also harvesting our beautiful green peppers! Potatoes, onions, garlic, and fresh fruits like watermelon, grapes, plums, peaches, lemons and limes can be found in our cooler and on our shelves.
If We Plant It They Will Come
July brings yet another month of change in our market building. We make room for the farm fresh produce that begins arriving from our fields. What could be better than a farmer’s market every day of the week! Our produce wins the taste test hands down. Your family’s health will benefit from the wide variety of our delicious and tasty fresh vegetables and fruits.
Pahl’s Annual Tractor Show
We are finally enjoying some beautiful weather! Memorial Day was stunning and we are hoping for more of the same this month. We like to celebrate Father’s Day with a Tractor Show both Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 15th. There are tractors that cover 75 years of Pahl family farming that will be on display in our parking lot. Stroll our lot and see the vintage and modern day tractors. Remember to bring your camera along for some great photo opportunities.

January in the Market
January is the month that we catch up, clean up, and begin the process all over again. We are open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM until April 1st when we kick off our spring hours.
